ONLINE: People’s University for Palestine: BDS Teach-In #1
In recognition of the upcoming 20th-anniversary of the launch of BDS by Palestinian civil society (July 2005) and in response to the acceleration of genocide and ethnic cleansing across historic Palestine, we will study the history of BDS movements and what makes them effective, with a particular focus on how BDS is a crucial part of international efforts to hasten freedom, justice, and self-determination for Palestinian people.
Join us on Thursday, February 27, 5:30 – 7:00 pm, on Zoom, for our first BDS Teach-In.
Topics will include:
- What is BDS?
- What makes these strategies effective for fighting for freedom and self-determination and colonialism and genocide?
- What examples from history can we learn from in our current moment?
