Social Justice Arts and Contemplative Pedagogies Workshop

This interactive workshop explores how social justice arts practices and contemplative pedagogies can facilitate transformation, healing, and empowerment in educational and professional environments. It emphasizes experiential learning, self-reflection, and collaborative engagement through the arts, promoting the development of inclusive, equitable, and compassionate educational practices.
Objectives:
Understand key principles of social justice arts and contemplative pedagogies.
Recognize the role of the arts in fostering empathy, resilience, and cultural awareness.
Learn and apply specific practices for creating inclusive, reflective, and empowering spaces.
Develop strategies for incorporating social justice arts and contemplative methods into teaching, mentoring, and administrative roles.
