Get ready to start a native garden from seeds! Here’s a hands-on workshop on getting your native garden ready for the coming year. Learn the basic anatomy and physiology of seeds and how to start them for a successful native garden! Specifically you’ll learn how to label the parts of a seed, prepare your seeds for germination, and know when the appropriate time is to transplant your seedlings into the garden. Free seeds with registration.
Participants will 1) Be able to label the parts of a seed; 2) Be able to demonstrate the processes needed to prepare seeds for germination; 3) Be able to describe when the appropriate time is to transplant their seedlings into the garden.
