El Segundo de Febrero: Seguimos

Centro Cultural Aztlan presents its 47th annual Segundo de Febrero exhibition, «El Segundo de Febrero: Seguimos.» Since 1977, the organization has showcased this exhibit to preserve Mexican American history and culture, commemorating the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo.
This year’s «Seguimos» pays tribute to those who chose U.S. citizenship post-treaty, along with impactful Mexican immigrants. The exhibit explores migration, adaptation, coexistence, and the evolving duality of Mexican-American identity.
Join the opening reception on February 2, 2024, from 6:00-9:00 pm, featuring live music by One Death. The exhibit is free and open to the public until February 29, 2024, Monday-Thursday, 10:00 am-4:00 pm.
Participating artists include lead artist Mauro Murillo and featured artists such as Maria J. Brown, Mauro de la Tierra, Ashleigh Garza, and more.
