Black Farmers & Urban Gardeners
Join Sustainable G’s Inc for an exciting gathering of black farmers and urban gardeners. There will be discussion topics such as spring planning, seed sharing and seed bank, discuss black farmer history as a part of Black History Month and advocacy projects to continue to support land access in the 2023 Farm Bill.
New and experienced small producers are welcome! Come be a part of organizing urban agriculture projects in the community! Local policy as well as the Farm Bill affects more areas of our food system than we might think.
This will be series of on-going meet ups to talk, discuss, skill shares and support other farmers and urban gardeners through education and support.
