Garner State Park Camping & Hiking Weekend

We are setting out for overnight camping, hiking, and swimming at Garner State Park. Expect to work hard, sweat, and see beautiful views on early morning hikes. Cool down in the peaceful water behind our camping loop in the afternoons. Enjoy the calming sounds of nature, in the company of others.
Join us the whole time, or come up for the day to hike!
My reserved site is in Live Oak Loop, with water and electricity. There are currently lots of sites available on that loop, but don’t wait as they may fill up! Use the Texas State Parks website to book your campsite in advance.
This trip is intended for adults – if you have kiddos, check out the other family camping events I am hosting in this group!
This adventure is about simplicity, nature, movement, and connection. During the group hikes, we will be smoke-free and booze-free. Feel free to bring food and board games to share, or enjoy the solitude in a hammock with a book.
Many folks like to tread light, so carpooling and site-sharing convos are welcome on the group page or in the event chat I will create a couple weeks out from the event.
I’m looking forward to adventuring and relaxing outside in the serenity, and doing so with friends!
