2024 NCSP Annual Summit: Community Solar – Deploying Benefits & Delivering Impact
Community solar is a growing force for delivering the benefits of solar to all households and communities. In areas where community solar projects can leverage strong policies, innovative business models, and deep community engagement, the community solar industry has proven its ability to deliver meaningful benefits such as household savings, low-income access and consumer protections, resilience, community-led economic development, solar workforce development, and more.
While not every community has had access these resources in the past, the rollout of the provisions of the Inflation Reduction Act, the forthcoming announcement of funding for Solar for All programs nationwide, and the work of the National Community Solar Partnership and its members to build and test tools such as the Community Power Accelerator and the Low-Income Clean Energy Connector have primed the industry to soon be able to deliver meaningful benefits at scale.
The U.S. Department of Energy National Community Solar Partnership is excited to convene its members and other community solar leaders for its fourth annual summit to leverage our collective work to build toward a future where meaningful benefits are accessible to all. Please join the National Community Solar Partnership for its 2024 Annual Summit, to be held fully virtually on Wednesday, February 14th to learn about new and expanded tools and resources to accelerate community solar deployment, to engage with community solar leaders from across the nation, and to explore the roles you and your organization can play in rapidly expanding community solar to deploy benefits and deliver impacts for all.
