Youth Climate Finance Alliance: Non Violent Direct Action Training

We will host a public nonviolent direct action training, focused on skill and capacity building locally in Houston.* 🤝 In the lead up to CERAWeek (March 10-14, 2025), we want to provide a space for our partners and allies to boost potential disruptions and the long-form campaigning of regional and national partners targeting fossil fuel financiers, as well as foster relationship building. Use this form to RSVP to support us and our partners at Rainforest Action Network Organizing Team and the Gulf South Fossil Finance Hub in designing curriculum and keep you updated with the latest information as we finalize details! ⛺ From February 7-9 in Houston, Texas, the Youth Climate Finance Alliance (YCFA) will host “Bonfire,” its first-ever organizer convergence at scale, focused on youth and campus-based organizers – individuals and collectives – under age 30 from across the United States. Bonfire is where we will co-create that emergent strategy with youth leaders from across the country, drawing on the experience and values of youth strategizing on currently separate climate and anti-imperialist movements. We want youth attendees to be grounded in larger corporate strategic campaigning, and to expand the action capacity of local partners.
