SA Climate Ready Joint Advisory Committee Special Meeting

SA Climate Ready’s two guiding committees—the Equity and Technical & Community advisory committees—merge as one mighty (virtual) mass for this special joint meeting to consider taking a position on the recommendations of CPS Energy’s Rate Advisory Committee to close our coal plant and replace it with a lot of new gas, as well as solar and wind. That recommendation will be voted on by CPS Energy Board of Trustees this January 23.

Meetings are livestreamed on the department’s Facebook page, though they have been plagued by technical issues, particularly poor audio.
