Event Details
The River Authority along with the United States Army Corps of Engineers invites the community to learn about the Mission Reach and what the River Authority has been up to for the past 10 years. We will also discuss why this project is different than the others. The River Authority is looking forward to sharing our efforts with everyone and welcoming community feedback. The Mission Reach trails connect to stunning Mission Portals which are large works of art serving as gateways to the San Antonio World Heritage Mission Sites. This 8-mile linear park has over 16 miles of trail along the river for pedestrians and bicyclists to enjoy, plus a paddling trail for canoeing and kayaking. The Mission Reach is a shining example of urban ecosystem restoration.
