You’ll have the opportunity to learn from expert gardeners and fellow gardening enthusiasts, who will share their knowledge and tips on various gardening techniques. From choosing the right plants for your garden to proper soil preparation and maintenance, we’ll cover all the essentials you need to know to create a thriving garden.  

From Drops to Barrels, Capturing the Clouds: An Introduction to Rain Barrel Harvesting
Presented by Irene Gonzales, Co-owner of Barrels For Sale 
During this interactive seminar, students will learn the art and science of harnessing nature’s most precious resource – water.  The class will delve into the benefits of rainwater harvesting, the design and setup of rain barrels, and the most effective methods to collect and store rainwater.  Practical, hands-on instruction will empower you to make a positive impact on the environment, reduce your water bills, and ensure a sustainable water supply for your garden.  Whether you’re a seasoned gardener, a budding environmentalist, or just curious about sustainable living practices, this class will equip you with the knowledge and skills to capture the clouds right from your backyard.  

3-month fall garden-to-table series begins October 16:
Pharm Table will present Part 1 of the  fall 3-part series “planning, harvesting and preparing a holiday feast from the garden” as a cooking demonstration.
