Join students from across Texas in a virtual lobby day of the Texas Legislature! We’ll advocate for climate solutions and a clean energy future.
On April 5th, we’ll hold virtual training from 12-1:30PM and 6-7:30PM on climate change, lobbying and the bills currently under debate in the Texas Legislature that aim to tackle the climate crisis. The training will be identical, and you can attend the one that works best for you!
On April 6th, we’ll have a kick-off meeting at 9AM and meetings with members of the Texas Legislature throughout the day. You’ll lobby your elected officials along with other students and an experienced advocate. You’ll be able to tell your legislators why you care about climate change and why they should support bills to promote wind and solar power, electric vehicles, walkable and bikeable neighborhoods, and more.
