Join Deceleration and Stone in the Stream/Roca en el Río for this year’s Words for Birds, held at Brackenridge Park in support of the migratory birds and heritage trees threatened by City policies and development pressures.

Poets, prose writers, and bird advocates will share words of celebration and cries for protection of our winged and rooted relatives. Enter park at Hildebrand and travel a quarter mile down Brackenridge Rd, then look for signs. Bring a chair or blanket for sitting!
