Myra Dumapias is a published poet who grew up in the Philippines, China, Malaysia, Germany, S.Korea and Romania and holds a bachelor’s degree in English and World Literature and a Masters degree in Social Work. She has started organizations and efforts to build restorative and nurturing community spaces that support disenfranchised groups and create continuity with hidden histories, ancestral wisdom and precolonial knowledge.
