Dia de Muertos Celebration at Eco Centro (LOCATION CHANGE)
Sponsored by San Antonio College Mexican-American Studies and Eco Centro/Garcia St. Farm. Authors/illustrators, Xelena Gonzalez and Adriana Garcia, will launch their children’s book, Remembering, at Dia de Muertos Celebration at Eco Centro (previously at Garcia St. Farm).
SAC-MAS students will present a Build an Altar workshop, provide children’s activities and offer a food demo. Music will be provided by a local DJ and a food truck will have food available for purchase. Eco Centro will share ideas and resources for sustainable living, while Garcia St. Farm will have marigolds and fresh vegetables for sale.
