Borderless Studios : Multi-Model Hub Design Open House

Over the past few months, SART has partnered with UTSA Architecture professors Paola Aguirre Serrano and Dennis Milam of Borderless Studio.  Their students have spent half a semester planning out designs for a potential new multi-modal transit station at the former Lone Star Brewery in Southtown.

An open gallery showing their work to the public. We are particularly excited that they are partnering with VIA who is offering the atrium of The Grand, the historic westside train station that now serves as the agency’s headquarters, located at 123 N Medina St.

We will be encouraging elected officials, journalists, and the public to come out to start a conversation about the train station that San Antonio deserves and we’d love for all of you to come out and show your support. The event should be a lot of fun, and it’s also a good opportunity to show VIA, city officials, and the press that San Antonio supports rail.
