Federal and state elected Texas Democrats gathered on the steps of San Antonio City Hall Wednesday to call for the release of Liam Ramos. Deceleration Video
Saying that the case of Liam Conejo Ramos is "emblematic" of the entire U.S. immigration detention system, U.S. Rep. Joaquin Castro and other Texas Democrats gathered in San Antonio on Wednesday called for Ramos's release and the dismantling of ICE.
“Liam Ramos should be release immediately,” Castro told a crowd gathered outside San Antonio City Hall to applause.

“His father says that Liam has been very depressed since he’s been at Dilley. That he hasn’t been eating well," Castro said. "I was concerned, you see how he appears in that photo. His energy. He seemed lethargic. His father said that Liam has been sleepig a lot."
