Art in the Park: Layered Paper
Under the guidance of experienced leaders, participants will embark on a brief nature walk, drawing inspiration for the Layered Paper Art project. After the stroll, everyone will reconvene at the outdoor picnic tables to organize materials and experiment with layering and cutting techniques, creating unique artworks inspired by images of native plants, perfect for the ongoing winter season.
Participants will have the chance to encounter the very tree that sparked inspiration for Mayor Phil Hardberger, explore the intriguing Borrow Pit, and gain insights into these distinctive features within Phil Hardberger Park. It’s important to note that the activity involves the use of scissors and glue, and this month’s program is tailored for adults. No prior art experience is necessary.
This creative endeavor is designed for both teens and adults who enjoy expressing themselves artistically. However, to ensure an optimal experience, participation is limited to 20 individuals, and registration is required for those eager to join this artistic exploration.
