Galeria E.V.A: 10-Year Anniversary Celebration
Entrenzada is an all ages, in-person celebration recognizing 10-years of Galería E.V.A (Ecos, Voces y Arte) and honoring the deep love for community, artistic passion and vision, and brilliance and resistanceled by Maestra Veronica Castillo Salas and her small but mighty team. Entrenzada (Intertwined) will beheld on June 7th and June 8th and will feature artists, poets, performers, organizers and creatives thathave contributed to the last ten years of Galeria’s existence, resistance and corazón.
Friday, June 7: 6PM-9PM
El Arte Que A Caminado Por 10 Años is an art and literary exhibition featuring the work of (14) visual artists and poetry readings led by (4) local poets. This community event is free and open to all ages.➢ Featured Artists Include: Liliana Wilson, Adriana Gallego, Mauro De La Tierra, Anel Flores, Alvaro Rafael, Mary Agnes Rodriguez, Dr. Hector Garza, Terry Ybanez,, Angela Weddell, Jose Sotelo Yamasaki, Suzy Gonzales, and Pete Ortiz.➢ Featured Poets Include: Aminah Parham, Ire’ne Lara Silva, Viktoria Valenzula and Anel Flores.

Fandango y Baile
Join us for a musical festival and opportunity to come and dance and celebrate this hugemilestone for Galería E.V.A. There will be musical performances, an artisan market and food and drinks to purchase. The $10.00 entrance fee will directly contribute to Galeria E.V.A’s communityofferings such as: subsidized ceramic workshops, youth programming, a community kitchen thatserves our houseless community every Saturday and has been in operation since 2020.➢ Featured Performers: Eva Ybarra y Sandy Rodriguez, Son Queers, DJ Errthang, Los DeEsta Noche, Nopalli, Ceiba Ili ft. Founded in 2014 by Maestra Veronica Castillo, Galería E.V.A. offers and shares an inclusive space with cultural and diverse individuals. The gallery builds rapport through events such as art exhibits, cultural and folklore presentations, birthdays, and wedding celebrations. Galería E.V.A serves many purposes from personal to public showcases to a venue for public and private events. This space serves as an educational branch and support system for all artists and members of the community who visit by being a special place where ideas and dreams can flow freely. It’s our mission to ensure the arts remain strong. To create relationships as human beings with nature and the community through learning the art and experiences of others. We believe everyone needs an adequate space in which to share their art, andthat space should support their visions and dreams.
