Guided Light-Up Kayak Tours at Spring Lake

Experience the San Marcos River’s headwaters like never before with the Meadows Center’s Guided Light-Up Kayak Tours at Spring Lake. This tour features a 100% clear kayak equipped with underwater LED lights, providing an uninterrupted view of the wildlife and iconic San Marcos Springs.
Learn about the rich history of Spring Lake, its critical habitat, and the efforts to protect the eight endangered and threatened species that call it home. Paddlers can also anticipate seeing a variety of wildlife, such as turtles, fish, and aquatic plants, all with a trained and knowledgeable guide available to answer questions.
Space is limited to eight people per tour, and participants must be 12 years or older. All related equipment will be provided. Beginner and experienced stand-up paddlers are welcome.
