Community Gathering: Mural for 53 Migrants Who Lost Their Lives
At 7:30PM on Thursday, there will be a community gathering at the “Sacrificios” Mural site at Mission County Park to honor and pay our respects on the second year anniversary of the 53 migrants who lost their lives in the tragedy in 2022. There will be a short blessing.
THEN: 5PM June 29th, there will be a rosary service at the site where the 53 migrants were found in an 18-wheeler. The city of San Antonio is creating a permanent memorial at the site. Read more at KSAT.
