SWU Community Day—Trees To Beat Heat Island Impact
We’re partnering with the Department of Urban Forestry to make our next Community Day extra special! Join us next Saturday, March 15th at 10am at 1416 E Commerce for a Tree Adoption 🌳 We’re giving out trees to combat heat islands in San Antonio. To qualify you must: 1) attend our workshop 2) be a Bexar County resident who lives in an area with a Tree Equity Score of 70 or less (CHECK THIS MAP TO SEE IF YOU QUALIFY).
Following the workshop we will hand out fruit trees to qualifying residents and hand out fresh produce bags to anyone in need 🥦🥕
