Todos Agua 2: Art | Music | Poetry | Workshop
March 28

Todos Agua 2, presented by Esperanza Peace & Justice Center, is happening this March! This festival, which began as a dream, has grown into a powerful gathering of music, poetry, storytelling, and community dialogue—all in reverence for water, life, and our deep ancestral connections.
This year, we welcome back our dear friend Julián Herreros Rivera whose music continues to inspire. We’re also honored to have Matilde Torres, Gary Perez, Ceiba Ili Janyn XC and more friends joining us for the Prayer Inauguration at Brackenridge Park, a space to reflect and give thanks for water as a sacred force.
DETAILS ABOUT MARCH 29:
The Todos Agua 2 festival honors the sacredness of water, its spiritual significance, and its crucial role in our planet’s well-being. Through art, culture, music, and education, we explore the deep connection between water, life, and community.
Join us on March 29 for a community dialogue on water, life, and resistence, featuring:
• Nansi Guevara, a border artist and activist working to stop further destruction of the Boca Chica State Park;
• Marissa Aki’Nene Muñoz, PhD, a professor at UTSA who works alongside community members to discuss, listen and make connections between the land, river and the indigenous communities; and
• Annalisa Peace, director of the Greater Edwards Aquifer Alliance speaking to the water struggles in San Antonio and the Hill Country.
This discussion will be moderated by Norma Martínez of Texas Public Radio.
