Winter Tree Pruning for Homeowners
Winter brings a chance to assess and perform some pruning on our shrubs/trees around the yard. Come learn the basics of tree maintenance! In this workshop, homeowners will learn the basic techniques of pruning trees in their own yards in the winter months.
Objectives: Participants will learn to 1) identify the basic parts of a tree, 2) identify when pruning can be done by the participant vs. when a professional arborist is required, and 3) to identify what can be done to protect the tree during the warmer months in regards to mulching and watering.
