Birding: Endangered Golden-Cheeked Warblers

Come learn about these federally-listed endangered songbirds who come to Government Canyon every spring to nest, mate and start their families here in the Texas Hill Country. Join knowledgeable birders from the Friends of Government Canyon Activities Committee and experience these amazing birds in person.
Open to ages 12 and older; minors must be accompanied by their parent or legal guardian.

Registration opens on Saturday two weeks prior to the event and closes at noon the Thursday before the event.
Though the outing is free, Natural Area entrance fees apply. Pre-purchasing a day pass is encouraged. See info via the ticket link.
