Special Geocache Challenge at Government Canyon SNA
Join us at Government Canyon State Natural Area as we celebrate 100 years of Texas State Parks with a special geocache challenge! Learn how YOUR local State Natural Area, its past, present, and future, are all connected to the importance of fresh, reliable water! Take part in a very special geocache challenge and get a great trackable item while experiencing locations within the Natural Area that really are all about water.
The challenge is to locate every “Interprecache” hidden throughout the Natural Area. There are 5 caches to find, and each cache contains either one or two special, stamped cards. Your challenge: collect one each of the special, stamped card(s) placed inside the cache boxes. There are 8 stamped cards in all to collect. Return all 8 stamped cards to the Visitor Center to win a special trackable item for you to use on future geocaching.
